USDA has posted a recording of the webinar for farmers, ranchers and other producers interested in applying for direct payments through the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) held Thursday, May 14.
CFAP will provide direct relief to farmers and ranchers whose operations have been directly impacted and suffered losses during the 2020 marketing year due to COVID-19.
CFAP will use funding and authorities provided in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, and other USDA existing authorities. This $19 billion immediate relief program will provide critical direct support to farmers and ranchers, maintain the integrity of our food supply chain, and ensure every American continues to have access to the food they need, USDA said
The recording is available on the Farmers.gov YouTube channel for immediate viewing and will be posted later today at farmers.gov/cfap.
