Seafood Industry Traceability Pilot Confirms that Standards are Key to Supply Chain Interoperability
The pilot used GS1 and GDST standards to support the advancement of supply chain digitization and to prepare for pending traceability requirements.

The study, published in the journal Nature Plants, was authored by international team of researchers led by the University of Birmingham.

The announcement was made after the board of directors meeting held during this year’s Global Summit, which is being held virtually for the first time.

Food Improved by Research, Science, and Technology (FIRST) is IFT's virtual event that kicks off July 19-21.

The investments, which come in the way of $55.2 million in grants, will also increase capacity, the agency said.
