“Our Consolidated Standards for Inspection allow your food safety programs to reach their highest potential,” said Vice President for Food Safety Services, Americas, Stephanie Lopez. “This update incorporates important trends and needs for today’s global food chain to help food plants minimize their risk of food safety contamination and exceed a customer’s expectations for providing wholesome and safe products.” AIB’s globally recognized standards for inspection are key requirements that facilities must meet to prove their products are wholesome and safe and are used as a guide for the company’s GMP Inspection, FS 360, and Inspection Only services.
AIB offers ten unique Consolidated Standards for Inspection, each tailored to specific industry segment requirements. Some standards will be updated throughout 2016 and others in 2017. Each will be implemented in year following the release to give companies time to prepare.
“We have prepared a free webinar and change document to explain the changes our clients will need to implement as they prepare for their next inspection,” said Elina Zerva, Global Innovation Manager for AIB International.
The updated Consolidated Standards for Inspection of Prerequisite and Food Safety Programs are available for purchase at www.aibonline.org.
