VALLEY VIEW, Ohio — Quality Assurance & Food Safety magazine’s Rodent Control in Food Facilities Virtual Conference on Wednesday, April 3, from 12-3:30 p.m. EST, will provide attendees with best practices, tips and tricks to manage the pest that topped the list as most concerning for food safety and quality assurance professionals.
There are a lot of pests that want into your food facility. The combination of food, safe indoor spaces and moisture puts a big target on your building. Among the many pests trying to get in, rodents are of most concern for many.
According to QA’s 2023 State of the Rodent Control Market, rodents were at the top of the list for pest concerns. In fact, 67% of food safety and quality assurance professionals surveyed said they had seen a rodent in their facility in the last year.
To help better understand why rodents are attracted to your facility and how to manage them, QA is bringing together an array of speakers to discuss best practices, tips, tricks and more.

- Chelle Hartzer, 360 Pest and Food Safety Consulting
