PakSense has announced the availability of standard label configurations for its temperature monitoring label. Standard temperature range specifications for the most frequently shipped perishable items, including beef, poultry, seafood and produce have been pre-programmed into different label categories. Users order the appropriate label, snap the corner to activate it, and attach it to product or product packaging prior to shipping.
The development of standard label configurations simplifies the ordering process for the customer and provides quicker turnaround time on orders, the company said. The standard label configurations will fall under the company's new PakSense Ultra product family.
Labels with a life span of 6 days, 15 days and 30 days are now available in seven temperature ranges and cover produce to deep frozen. Each configuration allows for a 30 minute cool down period after activation and each has a 30 minute delay before a visual alert is triggered in the event of a temperature excursion. A 30-day data logger and 60-day data logger are also available. Labels are color-coded for easy visual recognition and to simplify the reordering process.
