HD-Series

Mountz introduces the HD-Series, a torque control assembly system utilizing the electric servo motor control technology with compressed air. The HD-Series provides real-time monitoring and torque control of the tightening process. The reliable tools monitor and control motor current, motor voltage and motor rpm, to ensure torque control of the tightening process. It provides repeatability of the torque applied to screws, regardless of joint characteristics and frictional differences in actual applications.

HD-Series offers convenience with the adjustable control settings and provides variable torque and speed settings that can be used at single cell location. The torque control system features a built-in error proofing systems, which ads value to the quality control process. Increase productivity with one tool instead of 3-4 tools.

The HD-Series features a programmable digital torque setting with memory for 8 preset torque settings. The electric screwdrivers feature a high performance brushless motor design that provides durability and reduces the standard maintenance costs for electric screwdrivers. The casing of the electric screwdriver is designed to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD).

The controller of the HD-Series features a built-in screw counter, which prevents screw fastening errors and detects cross threading, omissions, unfinished rundowns and cycle complete. Using a screw counter is like putting the eyes and ears of a quality control manager where they are needed most - right on the assembly area. Screw counters verify that all fasteners have been installed and that they were seated to the tools preset torque setting. These units take the control of the assembly process out of the operator's hands.
