EnvirolyteUSA provides on-site, electrolytic generators that produce disinfectant solutions (anolyte) that are non-toxic and present no safety or environmental hazard, the company said. The feed stock is common table salt. Easy to use, personnel will have no problem running and maintaining the system, the company said. No special training is required.
The anolyte is primarily hypochlorous acid (the same material used in your body to destroy infection). The strength of the solutions is ample for all disinfection requirements.
Anolyte, when used in accordance with federal and state regulations, meets all FDA and USDA regulations, plus the standards of the USDA National Organic Product (NOP) program, and all EPA primary and secondary drinking water regulations as well as Air Quality Planning and Standards regulations, the company said. It requires no placarded transport of hazardous substances under U.S. Department of Transportation regulations; and it meets U.S. Labor Department OSHA regulations.
