Amarr has introduced a new rolling slat steel door for commercial applications. Called the 5700 Series, the rolling slat steel door provides medium-duty service at the price-point of sheet roll-up or sectional doors, the company said.
Amarr’s 5700 Series has curtains that are constructed of individual 3-inch slats with either a curved profile (model 5700) or a flat profile (model 5701) that provide strength and security in high-traffic situations. The individual slats are replaceable if damaged by equipment.
The 5700 series is available in galvanized or pre-painted white, lightstone tan and duro-bronze colors. All colors have a white interior prime coat. The doors are available in widths up to 14 feet and heights up to 14 feet, have a 12-inch steel enclosure barrel and come with optional electric operators, the company said.
