The Food and Agriculture Organization
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and World Health Organization (WHO) are calling on students worldwide to take part in a new poster competition marking World Food Safety Day.
The challenge, open from May 7 to June 7, invites school and university students to design a poster that answers the question: “What makes food safe?” The aim is to encourage young people to reflect on the science and practices that keep our food safe every day.
A panel of FAO and WHO experts will judge the entries, selecting winners from each of the Codex regions: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Near East, North America, and the South West Pacific.
Winners will be announced July 7. Competition rules and submission details can be found here.
