BURNSVILLE, Minn. —Temp-Air announced that its Thermal Remediation website, www.thermalremediation.com, has been redesigned for easier navigation and to better highlight the website’s many resources.
“We have a wide range of users who access the site – some of whom have extensive industry background and technical knowledge whereas other users have never heard of heat treatment being used as a method to kill bed bugs,” said Amanda Rahn, marketing manager, Temp-Air. “Our team wanted to ensure both user experiences had positive end results with successfully finding the information they came to view.”
Another reason for the website redesign was to make more easily viewable on a variety of mobile devices and tablets. The new website is designed to be “mobile responsive,” meaning the design of the site automatically adjusts based on the device, such as a smartphone, tablet or desktop computer.
In developing the new format, Temp-Air worked with a team that specializes in building custom B2B websites. From these meetings and extensive research, it was decided that wide hero images would appear on the top of each page to draw the user in.
Highlights of the newly redesigned website include:
- The online product catalog makes it simple to find the accessory or part a customer is looking to replace or add to his or her current system. Customers no longer have to log in to a customer portal to view product pricing.
- The Find a Service Provider page contains an interactive map making it simple for individuals experiencing bed bug issues to reach out to a pest control company that has been trained in the use of Thermal Remediation equipment to set up a treatment.
- Lastly, the new website has a clean, polished look – without grotesque insect images. In fact, the only bug image used throughout the entire site is in the Thermal Remediation logo.
