About Our Workshops
TechHelp food & dairy workshops are lead by national and international industry experts who deliver vital information to those involved in Idaho's food processing industry. The primary goal of all TechHelp workshops is to help companies learn about and implement advanced food processing practices that will make them more globally competitive.
Governments and large food companies worldwide are requiring food processors throughout the supply chain to adhere to global food safety standards. To compete globally, Idaho food processors are implementing standards such as one of the Global Food Safe ty Initiative Schemes and the Food Safety Modernization Act.
TechHelp's Food Processing Team includes university faculty and internationally recognized contracted partners. Together we bring a wide variety of services to the food industry through site visits, needs assessments, on-site project work, on-site training and applied research in university laboratories. If you are interested in having Jeff visit your facility to assess your food safety needs, please complete our service request form here.
