Albuquerque, N.M.-based T&D Corporation has released the 2.0 version of its free cloud-based T&D WebStorage Service. The redesigned platform provides more data tracking features, an improved user interface (UI) and more options to manage compatible T&D data loggers. T&D’s WebStorage Service provides real-time access to a user’s logger data such as temperature measurements recorded for monitoring storage environments to keep products safe.
“The 2.0 version of our WebStorage Service platform is a total redesign from the ground up,” said President Stephen B. Knuth. “We have achieved a much improved, user-friendly site that is easy to navigate and puts the most pertinent and relevant information front and center. Tracking and reporting on the performance of storage climates have never been more intuitive.”
New features of the platform as listed by TandD include:
- Cleaner design: A simplified user-interface to help customers navigate the platform and access data quickly.
- New setup guide: Takes users through the platform’s key features to ensure that no guesswork or additional research is required. It was created to promote and teach the features that users will access daily.
- Prominent alert features: Notifications that a storage facility has exceeded or dropped below a temperature or humidity limit are now displayed prominently across the top of each page in the platform. This allows users to see and react quickly to potential failures.
- Customizable watch list: New features enable users to customize their platform by adding six of the most critical data loggers in their portfolio directly on the home page, providing easy access to the data loggers that are checked most frequently.
The application programming interface (API) for WebStorage Service 2.0 is available on the platform. Users can integrate data and other functionality from the platform to their own site in order to customize their monitoring experience. API access is free and open to the public.
