Sparta Systems Adds Carlson, Aslanyan to Executive Team

HOLMDEL, NJ – Sparta Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise quality and compliance management software, announced the appointment of two software and life sciences industry veterans to its executive leadership team.  Diane Carlson, vice president of marketing communications, and Marina Aslanyan, vice president of professional services, will leverage their extensive technology and market experience to drive the company’s global growth, awareness and customer support for its TrackWise Enterprise Quality Management solutions.

Carlson joins Sparta Systems from IntraLinks, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of online workspaces for secure document exchange.  At IntraLinks, Carlson served as senior vice president for marketing communications and branding, spearheading the company’s various initiatives to create awareness, promote thought leadership and support revenue.  Prior to IntraLinks, Carlson held high-level marketing roles at Avero, a provider of business intelligence solutions to the hospitality industry, global technology provider Sun Microsystems and advertising agency J. Walter Thompson. 

Before Sparta Systems, Aslanyan worked at Barr Laboratories as a senior IT leader.  During her tenure at Barr, Aslanyan was tasked with improving organizational performance and client satisfaction, working with a team to ensure quality and regulatory compliance across the global organization.  Prior to Barr, Marina held consultant positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Anderson Consulting. At Sparta, she will leverage her industry expertise to ensure top-level implementation support to enable greater international growth opportunities.
