South Korea and the U.S. extended talks on resuming beef imports to June 17 in Washington, South Korea's Trade Ministry said in a statement.
Officials from the two nations held an informal meeting on June 16 in Washington, and will continue talks on June 17, the ministry said in an e-mailed statement. South Korea is asking the U.S. to voluntarily limit beef exports to meat from cattle aged less than 30 months.
