FRESNO, Calif. - Federal investigators probing Central Valley Meat found no evidence of meat from sick animals had entered the food supply, the AP reports.
Central Valley Meat's Hanford plant was temporarily shuttered earlier in August among animal cruelty and food safety allegations.
A spokesperson for the USDA announced investigators had found no food safety violations had occurred, though an investigation is continuing, according to the AP.
