TOPEKA, Kan. — Schendel Pest Services is hosting a day-long seminar for the employees of food production, distribution and warehousing facilities on Friday, October 26, at the Phoenix Doubletree Guest Suites in Phoenix, AZ. The seminar is designed to educate employees of food facilities on the current trends and latest developments in pest management, as it relates to food safety.
Keynote speaker for the event will be Ron Vail, Director of Food Safety and GFSI Education for the American Institute of Baking (AIB). He will present information about the Global Food Safety Initiative and the Food Safety Modernization Act. Vail has more than 30 years of experience in the food industry, working for both food manufacturing companies and for AIB.
