SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - SafetyChain Software and Leavitt Partners Global Food Safety Solutions announced new dates and topics for its popular FSMA Fridays series - monthly web/podcasts that help keep the food and beverage industry up-to-date on FDA Food Safety and Modernization Act (FSMA) news, and provide insight on how to prepare for compliance with recently announced and anticipated rules.
During the 30-minute events, Dr. David Acheson, Partner with Leavitt Partners - and author of the 2007 FDA Food Protection plan that became the foundation of FSMA as well as a contributor to the FSMA rules - and his team are interviewed by SafetyChain SVP and co-founder, Barbara Levin. Dr. Acheson and his team provide the latest updates on FSMA in general, and then address various questions on the date's topic, including questions from participants.
