WARREN, N.J., — Roka Bioscience announced that Dr. Chaney will be presenting a session at the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE). The session will take place on Tuesday January 27th at 1:30 in Hall B at the Tech Exchange.
The session is titled "Integrated Sample Preparation to Enable Reliable Salmonellaenterica Detection in Difficult Poultry Matrices" and will discuss results from a comparative study evaluating Salmonellaenterica detection platforms using ground poultry and carcass rinse data from five poultry producers. The results show the detection of Salmonellaenterica in ground poultry and carcass rinse samples can be improved by utilizing a testing platform that includes an integrated target capture step when compared to PCR and culture confirmation. The presentation will also describe semi-quantitative threshold testing and how it can be applied to Poultry operations.
"I am looking forward to presenting our collaborative findings and discussing our current efforts to develop unique testing applications for the poultry industry" stated Dr. Chaney. For more information, visit the Roka booth B7917. You may also request a copy of the presentation by visiting the IPPE presentation page.
