PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Two people were fatally shot Thursday night by a suspended employee inside a Kraft Foods facility in northeast Philadelphia, police said. A third person was critically injured in the attack.
A suspect was taken into custody inside the plant of the nation's largest food manufacturer, police Lt. Frank Vanore said.
The suspect had been suspended Thursday and was escorted from the plant before she returned in a car, Vanore said. She walked into the building with a handgun and started shooting, he added.
Seven employees who were trapped inside a quality-control room were reported to be unharmed, police said.
