DeltaTrak, a cold chain management solutions provider, has introduced two new data loggers for documenting storage and transport temperature conditions. The FlashLink USB In-Transit Data Logger and FlashLink USB Reusable Data Logger are transportation temperature monitoring tools for sensitive commodities equipped with a USB connection to easily upload data to the PC. The loggers monitor temperature-sensitive and perishable commodities, such as produce, prepared foods, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
The new loggers provide temperature history information ranging from -40°C (-40°F) to 65°C (150°F) and feature DeltaTrak’s patented Shadow Log functionality which guarantees that trip temperature is available even if the operator fails to start the logger. The units can also be custom programmed at the factory with up to six multiple alarm zone time limits. Each zone can be programmed for a set time limit and the logger will track cumulative time the temperature was within that range.
The FlashLink USB In-Transit logger is a single use data logger that can be purchased in 5, 15, 45, and 75 day logging periods. The logger alarm settings are programmed at the factory. These settings include high, low and skip alarms, delayed start and alarm delay. The reusable data logger allows the user to program logger functions including logging period, sampling intervals, loop or stop when full, high & low alarms, delayed start, skip alarm and alarm delay.
