FREMONT, Calif. — Purfresh has announced a new milestone: The company’s water purification systems are used around the globe to treat an estimated 25 billion gallons of water on an annual basis, or 68.5 million gallons per day.
"More important than the number of gallons we've treated, this 25-billion (gallon) milestone reflects our long-standing commitment to the water industry, including bottled water, pharmaceutical and personal care companies," said David Cope, president and CEO of Purfresh.
Purfresh’s ozone solutions for water purification and disinfection provide bottlers with integrated systems to efficiently treat water used in their operations. The company has installed aqueous systems in more than 20 countries, and treated approximately 145 trillion gallons of water.
Purfresh counts among its customers Neutrogena, Auvil Fruit Company, Broetje/First Fruit of Washington, PepsiCo, Arrowhead, Coca-Cola and Proctor & Gamble.
