The non-profit Partnership for Food Safety Education (PFSE) is holding a four-part webinar series on consumer behavior change developed in conjunction with the Social Marketing Association of North America.
The series, which kicks off February 15 on the topic of social marketing, is intended to continue to engage the nation’s health and food safety educators following the 2017 Consumer Food Safety Education Conference on behavior change. The first three webinars will walk through different behavior-change disciplines and the final webinar of the series will bring all the speakers together to talk about the similarities and differences between the different disciplines.
“This series offers health and food safety educators quality content on putting behavior change theory into effective practice,” said PFSE Executive Director, Shelley Feist. “Along with the evaluation guide and toolbox we offer online, this series allows us to continue to support health and food safety educators in the field.”
The live webinars are free. Continuing education units are offered for each of the four webinars by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and National Environmental Health Association (NEHA). Each of the webinars in the series will include 10-15 minutes for questions from attendees.
