Pearson Packaging Systems Introduces New Case Erector

The new CE35-UG is a fully-automatic case erector designed to meet the growing demand for smaller case sizes, the firm said.

SPOKANE, Wash. - Pearson Packaging Systems announced immediate availability of its new CE35-UG compact fully automatic case erector. Designed to meet the growing demand for smaller case sizes with lower product counts, the CE35-UG is ruggedly built to provide 24/7 output for the most demanding applications.

Ultra small RSC and HSC cases as small as 5"x 3"x 3.5" (LWH) can now be erected with the CE35-UG Case Erector at speeds up to 35 cases per minute. With a machine footprint of only 13'11"x 7'5"x 6'0" (LWH), it provides outstanding output per square foot to help maximize production with minimal floor space. Developed on Pearson's CE35-G proven design and optimized for demanding real world applications, the CE35-UG incorporates the latest controls technologies and high reliability components, Pearson said.

With fast five-minute changeovers utilizing quick release kip handles, easy to read scales and HMI instructions, the CE35-UG maximizes uptime. Using Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC and PanelView HMI with PackML compliance, the CE35-UG is easy to operate, maintain and integrate into MES/ERP systems. The CE35-UG precisely erects and bottom seals RSC and HSC cases using hot melt glue closure.

"We are excited to offer the CE35-UG to meet our customers' growing needs to erect very small cases with lower product counts helping to reduce inventory in transit for today's tightening supply chains," said Michael A. Senske, president and CEO.  "The new CE35-UG is another example of our strong commitment to continually listen to what our customers face in the marketplace and backing that up with Pearson's best-in class engineering, innovation and support," he added.
