BOISE, Idaho — PakSense, Inc., an innovator in sensory solutions for packaging, announced today that it has established a direct sales and distribution presence in South America. Lead by industry veteran Rodrigo Alberto Aliaga Silva and based in Santiago, Chile, PakSense South America now provides local sales and technical support for PakSense temperature monitoring labels in this agriculturally rich region.
“South America is strategically important to PakSense due to the shear amount of fruit and vegetable exports from the area,” said David Light, CEO at PakSense. “We look forward to serving this market with the most innovative temperature monitoring solution available on the market today.”
Aliaga has almost twenty years experience in the South American agricultural markets. His experience includes seven years with David del Curto S.A. where he held project and sales management positions for this leading fruit exporter. Mr. Aliaga most recently worked as the corporate sales manager for Latin America for Sensitech, Inc. where he managed the distribution chain, direct sales and market positioning plan for this cold-chain management company. In his new role with PakSense, he will continue to build a strong sales and support network for PakSense in key South American countries.
