BENICIA, Calif. — Pacific Ozone has hired a new vice president of finance and operations and a new director of sales for Latin America.
The company has hired Jeff Mitchell as its new vice president of finance and operations. Mitchell, who had filled a similar role at Sartorius Stedim, will be in charge of expanding and enhancing Pacific Ozone’s finance and operations functions in the face of the company’s ongoing growth.
“Jeff Mitchell’s experience in developing streamlined and efficient manufacturing systems will help Pacific Ozone advance toward its overarching goal of creating customers for life,” said Chris Rombach, president of Pacific Ozone. “Improving our operations and finance capabilities will ultimately allow us to more quickly and effectively meet our customers’ needs.”
Before joining Pacific Ozone, Mitchell served as the vice president of operations, finance and administration, for the Concord, Calif., facility of Sartorius Stedim, a manufacturer of single-use bioprocessing equipment.
“I am very excited by the tremendous opportunities and growth potential in industrial ozone,” Mitchell said. “My background in the dynamic environment of biotech manufacturing systems will enable me to jump in and make important contributions very quickly.”

The company also named Brian Lowe as its new director of sales for Latin America. Lowe, who has 25 years of experience in technical sales in the biopharmaceutical and microelectronics industries, will be in charge of managing and expanding Pacific Ozone’s network of sales representatives and distributors in Latin America.
“The expansion of our rep and distribution team further strengthens our abilities to serve our growing customer base in Latin America,” said Rombach. “Brian’s experiences in capital equipment sales in Latin America will greatly enhance Pacific Ozone’s success in this important region.”
Before joining Pacific Ozone, Lowe served as a senior sales engineer for Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a distributor for filtration and fluid handling products. “Pacific Ozone has a developed a solid customer base in bottled water, beverage and aquaculture in Latin America,” said Lowe. “I’m confident that this is just a fraction of the true potential for Pacific Ozone in Latin America, and I’m excited to be part of the team.”
“Brian’s breadth of sales expertise as well as his extensive experience in Latin America will allow Pacific Ozone to leverage its current successes and rapidly expand its presence in the region,” Johnson said. “We’re excited to have him join Pacific Ozone and look forward to the results of his contributions to our growth.”
