CHARLOTTE, N.C. - noax Technologies have enabled their industrial PCs to withstand temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F), the company announced.
Made possible by combining powerful components and state-of-the-art technology, the upgraded noax industrial computer has the ability to operate in a range of frosty environments including indoor and outdoor manufacturing, food processing and cold storage, the company said.
The company's industrial computers feature components developed specifically for use in extreme sub-zero temperatures, noax said. An automotive hard drive was developed as a storage medium for use in this temperature range. Additional parts also combat extreme temperatures, including blacklit LED displays -- unlike sandard displays that can take up to 15 minutes to warm up, the company said.
