BUFFALO, N.Y. — Niagara Blower Company has acquired the assets of Kathabar from Ross Air Systems.
Located in Somerset, New Jersey, Kathabar designs and manufactures dehumidification and air treatment systems for the food and beverage industry. The newly formed subsidiary will be called Kathabar Dehumidification Systems. (KDS). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Kathabar is a well-known, well-respected company and will increase Niagara’s potential customer base to provide a wider range of temperature and humidity applications,” said Niagara President Peter Demakos.
The acquisition will make Niagara one of the largest liquid desiccant dehumidification system manufacturers in North America, the company said.
Niagara Blower is a design-build manufacturer providing engineered solutions to heat transfer applications at food and beverage facilities worldwide since 1904.
