Nelson-Jameson Acquires Kaestner Company

Nelson-Jameson has acquired the Baltimore-based Kaestner Company. All Kaestner employees, including former owner Don Good, will stay on to operate the company.

Under a new name, Kaestner LLC will be operated as a separate, sister company to Nelson-Jameson. Jerome C. Lippert, president of Nelson-Jameson, will add the responsibility of president of Kaestner to his current duties.

Kaestner’s complete sanitary processing solutions include stainless steel products, engineering and the supervision of installations in primarily fluid plants located in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

This new relationship with Kaestner will allow Nelson-Jameson to bring even more product lines and industry expertise to its wide line offering, the company said.

Nelson-Jameson is headquartered in Marshfield, Wis., and has a stocking branch there, as well as in Turlock, Calif., and Twin Falls, Idaho. The company sells processing and flow control products, laboratory products, as well as ingredients and packaging.
