NEHA Seeks Abstracts for 2015 Annual Educational Conference

The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) is accepting abstracts to present at the 2015 Annual Educational Conference (AEC) & Exhibition in July.

DENVER-The National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) is accepting abstracts to present at the 2015 Annual Educational Conference (AEC) & Exhibition on July 13-15, 2015 in Orlando, Florida.

The NEHA AEC is the premier conference for environmental health professionals to receive the latest training and education in their field, network with their peers from across the nation, and get motivated and inspired to implement new ideas and strategies to advance the profession. The AEC covers a wide selection of environmental health disciplines, such as food protection and defense, emergency preparedness and response, onsite wastewater, sustainability/climate change, and many more.

Each year, NEHA chooses a theme for the conference program. For the 2015 AEC, NEHA is asking for submissions that mirror the concept of one of Orlando’s signature attractions: Disney’s EPCOT Theme Park. The goal of EPCOT (or Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) is to serve as an inspiration to humankind’s ability to shape the world and provide hope to people everywhere.

With this in mind, NEHA is looking for submissions that highlight realizable innovations in the environmental health community, celebrate human achievement in the profession, and demonstrate the differences attendees can make in their own careers and communities.

The abstract submission process is open now and prospective speakers can submit their abstracts for consideration until Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Detailed information on how to format and submit an abstract can be found in the AEC Abstract Submission Guide.
