Deni Naumann, president of Copesan Services, Inc., national commercial pest management provider, and a member of QA’s Advisory Board received the distinguished 2015 Women of Excellence award from the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) last week.
Naumann was recognized at the 2015 PestWorld Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, an annual NPMA event. The Women of Excellence award is designed to honor women who create significant and lasting impacts on the pest management industry. Many consider this award the highest honor given to professional women in pest management. It acknowledges outstanding leadership and notable contributions to the growth of the pest management profession.
“I was so surprised, and I'm very humbled by this recognition,” Naumann said. “Our industry has so many talented women who contribute to its success. All of us (women and men) have the responsibility to continue to attract, mentor and develop a diverse array of team members who will provide an excellent client experience to our broad customer base. As a female CEO, I'm proud to be a part of this initiative.”
Deni has guided the Copesan network, an alliance of regional pest management service providers united to serve commercial national accounts, since 2006. She is also responsible for the oversight of two operating companies owned by Copesan Services, Wil-Kil Pest Control, Wisconsin, and Holder’s Pest Solutions, Texas. Naumann is active in many industry-related organizations including NPMA; Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM); Pi Chi Omega; and sits on the Boards of QA magazine and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) International Certification Services.
