SAN JOSE, Calif. - Mountz has announced its new MTWD digital torque wrench.
The tool is designed for screw tightening, fastener audit and general torque measurement and provides a visual, acoustic and sensory signal when the pre-set torque is reached, the company said.
The user-friendly product is simple to use and displays real time torque values, and is great for light industrial, automotive, electronics and aircraft applications, the company said. With a vibrating handle and LED display, the tool is great for noisy environments, Mountz said.
The operator can set the lower and upper torque thresholds to get a audible and visible warning signal when the pre-set torque limits are reached or breached during operation, the company said.
