Morning Consult
New York-based Morning Consult has published the latest edition of its America's Most Loved Brands 2019, a ranking of consumers’ favorite brands determined by over 400,000 survey interviews with adults 18+ across the United States. The rankings provide an in-depth view of the brands that define American culture and commerce.
A look at the most loved food brands shows that wellness trends haven't stopped Americans love of indulgent treats. Although wellness is having a moment, and brands across a wide array of sectors are repositioning their products in order to capitalize, the rankings show that fast food brands including Chick-Fil-A, Dairy Queen, Subway, are largely popular among Americans.
The top five food brands are:
- Hershey
- Cheerios
- Subway
- Dairy Queen
- Chick-Fil-A
This edition of Most Loved Brands is based on four survey metrics: brand favorability, trust, community impact, and net promoter score. Each metric is factored into an index score, and brands are ranked accordingly.
The report web page also enables a sort-by-demographic feature of the most loved brands. A comparison of the key demographics, which include gender, generation, consumer elites, and community types (suburban, urban and rural), provide an interesting look at consumer variation.
