EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan State University Online Food Safety Program will host a Creating a Food Safety Culture Executive Education program on campus from June 10-12.
The program includes two-and-a-half days of sessions facilitated by Frank Yiannas, food safety expert and adjunct faculty in the online Masters of Science in Food Safety program at MSU. It also includes a lecture by guest speaker William "Bill" Marler, managing partner, Marler Clark LLP PS.
During the sessions, food safety professionals from around the world will ignite conversations on the tools, strategies and behavior-based science needed to help create a robust food safety culture within your workplace.
MSU welcomes food safety professionals from industry, regulatory, academia and military. Titles of individuals that have attended the program include vice president of global QA operations, director of FSQA, food safety quality assurance manager, vice president of quality assurance and food safety, food safety compliance specialist, corporate food safety group leader and food safety coordinator. Some executives that attend are also students pursuing their MSU Masters in Food Safety degree.
