TAMPA, Fla. — Mettler-Toledo Safeline will offer a free webinar Sept. 24th at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time entitled “Metal Detection, X-ray Inspection, or Both — Making the Right Choices.”
The choice of an inspection system for your production line may seem confusing, perhaps even daunting. Adding to this are widely held misconceptions about the capabilities and operation of the two major inline product inspection technologies — metal detection and X-ray inspection.
Mettler-Toledo Safeline’s webinar will dispel the myths and arm you with a very good understanding of the working principles of both metal detection and X-ray inspection systems, the company said. You will also have a very good understanding of the variables you need to consider when choosing one or the other technology for your line. Based on your overall goals, you may also choose to employ both metal detection and X-ray inspection in certain situations.
Each of the two webinar presenters is an expert in applying his respective technology in real life production situations. You will learn about the capabilities of each technology as well as its respective strengths and weaknesses.
The webinar is scheduled to last one hour and will have a live question and answer session at the end.
