Marathon Data Systems, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for field services and transportation and logistics industries, has been named a winner in the 2015 Globee Awards, recognizing company growth and success as well as contributions of private organizations from all over the world.
“The Globee Awards recognition is a testament to Marathon’s evolution as a business through investment in people, products and processes,” said Chris Sullens, CEO and president of Marathon Data Systems. “Marathon’s rapid and sustained growth is driven by developing and communicating a clear vision, and hiring and developing great people with a passion for delivering on that vision.”
Marathon Data Systems has grown to what it is today by building a strong foothold since it was founded in 1984. In 2008, Marathon Data launched its cloud-based software solutions for additional field services, and again in 2012, reinvented its software for transportation and logistics companies following its acquisition of Viamente. This evolution from a provider of specialized business management technology for a single industry to a “cloud-based business management platform for companies with a mobile workforce” enabled the acquisition of more than 7,000 customers.
Honorees will be announced during the awards dinner and presentation on June 29, 2015, in San Francisco attended by the winners, industry leaders and judges. Visit www.marathondata.com for more information about Marathon Data Systems.
