BURLINGTON, Mass. - Wellness Pet Company, with 100 years of pet food and treats heritage, announced the appointment of Jim Scott as chief supply chain officer and member of the executive leadership team.
With experience in manufacturing and logistics within the human food industry, Scott will lead supply chain management and help enhance competitive position and financial performance for the company.
Scott is Six Sigma Black Belt certified and most recently served as vice president of operations and supply chain, USA, at Maple Leaf Foods, leading U.S. operations and supply chain transformation through enhanced operational efficiency, supply chain network optimization and strategic process improvements. At Wellness Pet, he joins the executive leadership team to manage end-to-end supply chain strategy, grow its team and ensure service for pet parents through data-driven execution and continuous improvement.

Scott is an industrial engineering graduate from Humber College in Toronto. He and his wife, Renee, have three children and are pet parents to a beloved brown tabby cat named Murphy.
