COLLEGE STATION, Texas— This workshop offers an overview of the FSIS Enforcement Investigation and Analysis Officer (EIAO) educational program and the Food Safety Regulatory Essentials (FSRE) program.
FSIS training officers and HACCP Alliance staff will focus on the EIAO work methods and administrative enforcement activities, including new tools FSIS is using to conduct Food Safety Assessments. The FSRE portion will focus on elements being taught to inspectors.
The workshop is designed to allow industry professionals to better understand these two educational programs and the roles of the trained personnel within the agency.
Dates: Jan. 5-7, 2009. From 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 5 to 1:00 p.m. on Jan. 7. (Days one and two - EIAO, Day three - FSRE).
Location: Room 115, Kleberg Animal and Food Sciences Center, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX.
The program is limited to 200 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
