CHANTILLY, Va. - InfinityQS International, a provider of real-time quality control software solutions, today announced its sponsorship of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend, held Dec. 4, 2011, in Memphis. In its third year supporting this event, InfinityQS has made a $1 million pledge to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – the world’s premier center for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
This fun-filled race weekend has been affiliated with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 2002, in partnership with the Memphis Runners Track Club. Participants can choose to participate in a marathon, half marathon, 5K, or a family race. Last year’s event drew over 16,000 runners and raised over $3 million. All race proceeds directly support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help advance efforts to treat and prevent childhood diseases, and save lives.
As part of the company’s commitment, a group of InfinityQS employees, family and friends will be participating in the day’s races.
B.K. Im, chief financial officer, InfinityQS, said, “St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a truly remarkable organization with a strong commitment to saving lives and supporting children and their families facing the difficulties of childhood illnesses. InfinityQS is honored to be a part of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend once again this year, and we encourage other companies and individuals to contribute to this worthy cause – whether through race participation or a financial donation.”
