NEW YORK — Inc. magazine released its Best in Business list. The list, according to Inc., covers 240 companies that go "above and beyond," the magazine said. Inclusion on this list signifies these companies as leaders in not only profit, employee relations, and DEI, but in giving back to the community, tackling food insecurity and being leaders in sustainability.
Included on the list are five food companies:
- Ayo Foods, helmed by CEOs Perteet and Fred Spencer, for their impact in community development
- Nautical Bowls and CEO Peter Taunton, for their work in combating food insecurity
- Neutral Foods, with CEO Marcus Lovell Smith for their work in sustainability
- Thistle, led by CEO Ashwin Cheriyan, also highlighted for their focus on sustainability
- Yasso and CEO Craig Shiesley and their work in community development
