HARAHAN, La. - The International Association for Food Protection will hold its Cleaning and Sanitizing Practices Workshop from September 27-28 in Harahan, La.
Adequate cleaning and sanitizing is a critical prerequisite for any food safety program in a food processing facility, IAFP said. There are many factors that influence the effectiveness of a C&S program, and the organization said this workship will discuss many of these factors while attendees learn hands-on how to select the best combination of chemistry, practice and equipment to ensure that a C&S program is most effective.
Instructors for the workshop will include experts in C&S chemistry, hygenic design, validation techniques and application experts who understand production processes in food facilities and how successful C&S programs can impact production and output.
