HARAHAN, La. - The International Association for Food Protection will hold its Cleaning and Sanitizing Practices Workshop from September 27-28 in Harahan, La.
Adequate cleaning and sanitizing is a critical prerequisite for any food safety program in a food processing facility, IAFP said. There are many factors that influence the effectiveness of a C&S program, and the organization said this workship will discuss many of these factors while attendees learn hands-on how to select the best combination of chemistry, practice and equipment to ensure that a C&S program is most effective.
Instructors for the workshop will include experts in C&S chemistry, hygenic design, validation techniques and application experts who understand production processes in food facilities and how successful C&S programs can impact production and output.
The workshop is sponsored by the IAFP Food Hygiene and Sanitation Professional Development Group. For more information and how to register for the workshop, click here.
