KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Packaging equipment company Multivac, Inc. today announced that it has again been honored with the Hormel Foods Spirit of Excellence Award.
Hormel Foods executives traveled to Kansas City, Mo., to present the award to Multivac staff and management in recognition of their supportive role in a successful year for Hormel Foods.
Multivac supplies Hormel Foods with an array of packaging solutions and support services for a wide range of its product lines.
Hormel Foods suppliers are given the award each year in recognition of taking a proactive role in meeting or surpassing specific requirements established by the company’s supplier quality management committee. Eligible companies were selected based on delivery performance, product quality, customer service, administration and plant quality audits. Nominations were made throughout the year by the Hormel Foods purchasing, provisions, procurement, logistics and engineering departments.
The award was officially presented at Multivac’s North American headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri on April 14.
“Every member of the Multivac organization is proud to have contributed to the great success of Hormel Foods over this past year,” says Jan Erik Kuhlmann, president and CEO of Multivac, Inc. “Once again, our business relationship with Hormel Foods has proven to be one of exceptional partnership, cooperation and communication - along with a shared commitment to achieving outstanding results the first time around with each and every project. We look forward to many more successes with the team at Hormel Foods for years to come.”
