LEETSDALE, Pa. — Hörmann Flexon has introduced the Quick Connect HFC1 plug-and-play control box. This control box provides a plug-in system for powering up Hörmann Flexon doors.
Standard equipment on all Speed-Master, Speed-Commander and Speed-Guardian high-speed roll-up doors, the Quick Connect HFC1 control box has receptacles located on the bottom which match up with the specific electrical cables that bring power to the door and activations. The power cable connectors plug and twist into designated receptacles on the control box.
It may be installed in most applications because of its NEMA 4 enclosure and UL-approved rating. The frequency inverter design with soft start/stop has minimal wear on the door, and a 24/7 watchdog surveillance system of electrical operations provides protection from power surges. The Quick Connect HFC1 fits into areas with limited space with dimensions of 12-inch wide by 16-inches high by 5-inches deep. The self-diagnostic LCD display screen identifies a malfunction, and diagnostics reduce down-time.
