The HEMCO Corporation's Model 24200 Vented Table Top Hood is constructed of chemical-resistant, lightweight advanced composites and can be easily moved as procedures or workflow change, said the manufacturer. Typical uses include histology, microprocessor, venting for hot plates, microscope stations, student workstations, sample weighing stations and handling pharmaceuticals. Dimensions are 24 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 24 inches high. A molded chemical-resistant work surface is recessed to contain spillage, and a three-inch diameter outlet collar is provided for duct connection. The unit’s base consists of an integral recessed work surface to contain spillage. Fumes are vented through the integral fume side and rear walls and out the top.
