GS1 US will hold a series of workshops on the topic of data quality and supply chain visibility for professionals in data and supply chain roles. During the GS1 US Data Quality Workshop, participants from across multiple industries will draw on the experiences of GS1 US National Data Quality Program early adopters to provide guidance on the steps necessary to establish or enhance an existing data quality program within a standards-based framework. GS1 US standards experts and industry partners include The Coca-Cola Company, The J.M. Smucker Company, Eclectic Products, Inc., the Target Corporation and Wegmans Food Corp.
The GS1 US Supply Chain Visibility Workshop will help supply chain and data professionals better understand the foundation of product traceability while creating a supply chain visibility plan for integrating GS1 Standards into their business processes. The workshop will focus on the definitions and uses of Key Data Elements (KDEs) and Critical Tracking Events (CTEs) for tracing product. Dates and locations include:
