GreenTech Heat Solutions has introduced a Master Heat Technician Certification Online course for conducting heat treatments to eliminate pests. The program was designed by Michael R. Linford, who developed and commercialized the use of portable heaters to eradicate structural insect pests. With his associates, Walter Ebeling and Charles Forbes, he introduced it to the pest control industry in 1989. The series draws from Linford’s experiences over the past 28 years, and the field experiences of hundreds of companies he has worked with. The program includes the Heat Treatment Field Guide (185 pages), video lecture series with Linford, and certification testing.
Te series will confirm and refresh known strategies and introduce new techniques to improve your use of convected heat for insect eradication, rodent exclusion, and structural disinfection. Candidates for certification will learn how to deal with special high level situational environments and applications for sterilization, stored foods, cockroaches, powder post beetles, and more. The GreenTech Master Heat Technician Certification program launches July 2017.
