MANHATTAN, Kan. - The International Grains Program, Kansas State University Department of Grain Science and Industry, AIB International and the International Association of Operative Millers have joined forces to present "Grain Milling: Food Safety and HAACP Workshop" from October 16-18.
This two and one-half day seminar was developed specifically for the grain processing and milling industries, and will explore the flour milling process, essential prerequisite programs, food safety hazards associated with cereal grains, and how to develop a step-by-step process to implement and manage a HAACP program.
The seminar will be held at the Kansas State University Department of Grain Science's International Grains Program Conference Center, Manhattan, Kan.
