LAS VEGAS — The 2009 Future Food Congress will be held in Las Vegas March 29-31, 2009. The show is designed to help food industry manufacturers overcome today's challenges and work towards tomorrow's solutions by bringing together some of the industry's leading experts and innovators.
The food industry has found itself at a pivotal juncture where the usual market forces are no longer solely responsible for driving innovation and change. The environment, the rising price of fuel and safety concerns now also determine the way the industry moves forward.
This private, invitation-only event is reserved for 100 vice presidents and c-level executives from within the food industry who will come together for three days of presentations, closed roundtable sessions, workshops and panel discussions.
“This program is of cutting edge technology, a great place for idea and information sharing. The speakers are from such a diversity of corporations that just about any topic you might need to hear about is covered,” said Gary L. Gold, vice president of quality for Berner Foods.
The Future Food Congress will cover such topics as:
- Crisis Management and Recall Strategies
- Getting it Right — Lean and Six Sigma
- Supply Chain of Tomorrow
- Packaging Super Tractability
- Reducing your Water Footprint
- The Triple Bottom Line
- Systems Integration for Maximum Communication
- Exceeding Regulations for Food Safety
