Developed for manufacturers, this 4- to 5-hour webinar provides the information on updates that are included in BRC Issue 7, which will go into effect on July 1. 

The Global Standard for Food Safety, Issue 7, is published by the British Retail Consortium (BRC). Originally developed in the UK Retail Market, it has acquired world-wide recognition as a framework for businesses that need to produce a safe and quality product. 
Course Instructors are Lori Ernst and Gary C. Smith. Ernst is FSNS vice president of audit services and food industry veteran with 27 years of experience in food operations and audit management. As a BRC-approved training provider and BRC auditor, Ernst has completed numerous audits in a wide range of industries. Smith is a member of the Board of Directors for FSNS, and visiting professor at Colorado State and Texas A&M university. Dr. Smith has received numerous awards in teaching, research, and service from organizations including the American Meat Science Association, the American Society of Animal Science, the National Meat Association, and the U.S. Meat Export Federation. 
The webinar cost is $199, with a collegiate (student) discounted registration fee of $150. Register four weeks prior to the webinar training course and receive 5% discount.
