Food Safety Net Services Announces 2013 Education Class Schedule

2013 schedule includes a full course offering for both BRC training and HACCP courses.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Food Safety Net Services (FSNS) has announced today, its 2013 Education Class Schedule. The 2013 schedule includes a full course offering for both BRC training and HACCP courses.

BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Implementation – 2 day course: This program consists of two courses provided in 3 days. The first is a 2-day course for the Implementation for the BRC Standard for Food Safety and the second is a 1-day BRC Internal Auditor Course. 
 
The Global Standard for Food Safety, Issue 6, is published by the Retail British Consortium (BRC). Originally developed in the UK Retail Market, it has acquired worldwide recognition as the framework for any business to produce a safe and quality product.

2013 HACCP Certification Course:  This 2-day training course is accredited by the International HACCP Alliance and is taught by a professional staff, including Dr. Gary C. Smith. Dr. Gary C. Smith is a member of the Board of Directors for Food Safety Net Services and is now University Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Colorado State University and Adjunct Member of the Graduate Faculty at Texas A&M University.
 
The HACCP course is designed to educate and certify individuals in HACCP Systems development, implementation, and management. Ideal for Plant HACCP Team Members, Plant Management Teams, Corporate Executives, and anyone whose job function will impact the facility HACCP Plan. By completing the 2-day HACCP course you will identify Critical Control points and food production facilities and be able to establish a system for monitoring, verifying and documenting critical control points to ensure food safety during production.
