WASHINGTON, D.C. - FDA has released a host of resources related to the proposed rules on produce safety standards and preventative controls in human food. The resources are to meant to help the public in offering comment and feedback on the proposed rules, FDA said.

“The FDA knows that food safety, from farm to fork, requires partnership with industry, consumers, local, state and tribal governments, and our international trading partners,” said FDA Commissioner Margaret A. Hamburg, M.D., upon announcing the proposed rules. “Our proposed rules reflect the input we have received from these stakeholders and we look forward to working with the public as they review the proposed rules.”
